Im glad the rest of these people had positive experiences. But regrettably, I did not.
She hung up one when I called her in an emergency bad moment for me. She was just very cold to me. And I felt very unwelcome. She never listened or took me seriously, &I sadly found that out to be true, not just a worry or assumption. Which is one huge trigger for me, if she ever would have listened, she would have known that. I honestly would swear the woman hated me, even while crying she showed no care or compassion.

Dr. Rathnam is super important to this community. She sees patients of all ages and issues. She handles Medicaid and private insurance clients. The waiting area has limited space but there is lots of parking and it is convenient in Kinston
Absolutely horrid. Dr. Rathnam was nothing short of rude and cold to me and my mother (who wasn't even her client, I was!)
Between office staff and doctor that refuse to work with my prescription insurance and lying repeatedly and when and what they have done--this office is nothing but frustration. would never recommend them.
She doesn't listen to your problems. She can't hold a conversation bc all she hears is what prescriptions you either tell her you need or what she thanks you need. I try to talk to her about what I'm going through and she sits there and let's me talk then tells me what she's gonna do with my prescription. Shes the worst psychiatrist ive ever been too and I'm stuck with her bc my insurance covers her and won't let me switch. If your after a doctor who will right you whatever narcotic scripts you wont go seek her. You'll love her bc when you go to see her she brings you in her office asks if things are normal then hands you your scripts and says bye. She's perfect for those doctor shopper junkies. But so terrible for someone with real problem who would rather have real help instead of drugs that get you high and cover the real problem untill you need more to ease the problem till you aren't takeing them. Sorry but this is the truth and my iq is 100 times hers. Idk how the flying f*** she made it through college with a PhD.
