The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable and the whole place is nicely decorated. I liked the pool and the quietness. The staff were very friendly but we had technical issues during check in.
We had booked a room at the O'Neil and there was a mix up. They put us at the Mother Earth Motor Lodge. What a lucky break. The ultra clean, ultra retro feel to this renovated classic is awesome. No detail is left out to make you feel you are back in the 70's from the housekeepers uniforms, front desk staff's bell bottoms, pops of orange and red, and psychedelic bedding. If that was not enough, everyone was super nice and helpful. Next time we need a Chef and the Farmer and Boiler Room fix, we will head to the Mother Earth Motor Lodge, you should too. Spring for the suite - it is worth the extra few dollars.
Front desk was oblivious. Put in the wrong room then double charged for.room that was prepaid. Took 3 days to correct financially.
Amazing place to stay in Kinston. I love how the entire space was retro-fitted to not only give a vintage look to guests, but to also bring a vintage feel. Thumbs Up!
Everything was Spot-On. The kids loved the eclectic decor, and the pool, and shuffleboard plus other amenities.
Stayed over weekend for a softball tournament.
