Great pastries and donuts! It's a little out of the way if you're in town, but well worth the visit. The folks who run the bakery are friendly and obviously love what they're doing. The apple turnovers with their homemade carmel sauce are terrific, and the cinnamon rolls, especially the maple/bacon version are the stars. The donuts come in a wide variety, and all I've had were great. J & J Bakery is a wonderful addition to the unique, finely crafted flavors of Kinston.
Bakery was awesome although i believe they have closed now. Real sad
