Neat place as far as activities goes. Good place to take your kids for some playground fun or a picnic. Unfortunately, it's still under repair in some areas and I didn't particularly like the fact that an owl and a hawk were outside in this heat in some rather small cages....
Great staff and many activities are free. To include the planetarium.
It's a great place, relaxing, informative. They have a shelter for picnics and also a couple of buildings for kids to learn about animals and planets.
Wow. Large nature area right in the city. River views, benches, swings, camping, fishing, planetarium, nature center. Playground, and fossil dig.
